The Challenge
An Irish restaurant group with six locations across Dublin and Cork had six separate WordPress websites, each maintained independently by a different person, with different themes, different booking plugins, and wildly inconsistent branding. Menu updates required six separate logins and six separate uploads. When they launched a new seasonal menu, it took a staff member two full days to update everything — and there were always errors. The group's marketing manager described it as "managing a website for every table in the restaurant."
Our Solution
We built a WordPress Multisite installation with a shared parent theme and child themes for each location's accent colour and photography. A single menu management system pushed updates to all six sites simultaneously. We integrated OpenTable for reservations across all locations from one admin interface and built a "what's on" events calendar that aggregated across venues. Staff training took 90 minutes and covered every task they needed. Six sites became one coherent system.
